Experienced: Dr. Scott Burdge has been practicing podiatry for more than twenty years.

Educated: In 1988 he graduated with a BA from Brigham Young University and went on to earn his DPM in 1995 from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, one of the top two podiatric specialty schools in the US at the time. After graduation, he completed an additional two years of surgical residency at the University of Texas Medical Center at San Antonio and the VA in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Board Certified: As a Board Certified Surgeon with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, he is experienced in every foot surgery imaginable. His experience includes surgical residency time at the University of Texas Medical Center at San Antonio, and the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, board certification requires numerous documented surgical cases of varied kinds and numbers amassed over years, as well as rigorous testing. Once the status is obtained it must be maintained.

Compassionate & Caring: Dr. Burdge considers each patient to be unique and important. He pays attention to details and makes recommendations based on what he believes will be most beneficial for each patient’s needs. Communicate your concerns. He’ll listen.

Specialized Knowledge: Through his residencies and professional associations Dr. Burdge has obtained specialized training and experience in the fields of Diabetic Foot Care, Sports Medicine, and Pediatric Foot Care.

Thorough: Dr. Burdge is willing to dig deeper when something seems off. Out of the thousands of patients, he has seen on a routine basis, Dr. Burdge has caught cases of rare cancers and other extremely uncommon foot problems and saved lives because he was determined to find the true source.
